The Dark- Chapter 2Chapter 2 On Monday morning, I took my first steps into Lawsonville High School. I walked down the hallway with my books clenched to my chest as if they were my life support. I felt a few odd glances as I looked around the crowded hallways. All the sudden someone put their hands on my shoulders and gave me quite a jolt. I turned around to see a boy the same age as me. I looked him up and down and gave him a good analysis, as I do with everyone the first time I meet them. The Dark- Chapter 1THE DARK Chapter 1 No one wants to admit it; I did not even want to admit it at times. Our country was under siege from a foreign government. The current party in power didn’t have any power at all. They were basically paying rent just to make sure there wasn’t an invasion. Therefore, because of that, the economy fell. I’m living in this age, this age of hurt, pain, poverty, and disbelief. Although after everything that has been happening, our country rode on, acting like nothing was wrong.
